Prayer is the instrument that God gives us to communicate with Him, and our problems are we do not use that instrument enough and often we misuse our prayers to God. God has created us in His image and with that, just as parents want to talk with their children, so to does God want to hear from us.
In the Power of Prayer, a discussion of a time in my life at 24 years old that I was helpless, hopeless, and without any solution to a serious combat problem in Vietnam. Part 1 lays the outline of the problem and Part 2 is based on part 1 and describes how God so clearly led me to the solution of a very real combat need in Vietnam. Part 3 is observations I have come to understand over the 40 years since.
