From any number of sources on the internet, Bible scholars that start with Genesis, will tell us that the earth was created about 6000 years ago.  Some will say as much as 8000 years ago.


 I do not dispute or necessarily agree with that.  However, our best science and people of science says the Universe is about 13.5 billion years old and the earth about 4.5 billion years.  Similarly, I do not dispute that.  

However, This is most Believable

Suppose the Bible scholars are right, and they may just be correct.  What is easier to believe is that God is so very powerful, His word by itself is beyond creative, and He is far above genius in every aspect of everything imagined, known, and unknown to mankind.  

Therefore, God is so very powerful that He could have created the earth 6000 years ago just as the Bible says, the universe too or maybe a few thousands of years or just instantly before the Earth.

What most truly believable is this- God is so powerful, in His extreme power He could have created this earth 6000 years ago and made it all appear 13.5 billion years old... just as science tells us. 

God is all powerful in His imagination that He could make the Earth just as He wishes in the timeframe He desired just as it appears today.  He could have made it 6000 years ago or 13.5 billion years ago, I will not dispute or argue either.  

However, I truly believe Genesis and the rest of the Bible is the inspired Word of God, Powerful Words, Words such that God spoke and Bang, it happened... 6000 years or 13.5 Billions years ago, take your pick.

God said it- Bang! It happened.

All because He loves us! (John 3:16)
