What God Does for Us

"For God so loved the world, 
     He gave us His Only Son..."
John 3:16



In God's emptiness 
    He made something out of nothing,
          And it was called "good".

In God's creative nature
   He made light from that something and
       from that something 
           He created the ever expanding universe.

But, having this expansive universe was not good enough,

In desires truly known only to Him,
     For those desires He created us
       in His Image.  This including our emotions and
            Out of His emotions
                He gave us life
                  and Then, and only Then
                     He called His creation "very good".

In His giving us life
       He gave us spirit.

In His Loving Spirit
       He gave us a spirit that loves.

In His choosing to love us abundantly,
       So too, we choose to love Him,
         or not.

In God's unconditional love for us,
    painful to Him as it can be,
        He gives us forgiveness
             Because he Loves us.

In God's love for us,
    From His plan at the beginning,
       He sent Jesus to show us His love.

In Jesus' love for us,
       He gave us His all and
            in giving us His all
                 Jesus redeemed us on the Cross.

In that redemption on the Cross,
     it was proven by Jesus' empty tomb
        and
     our heart is filled when we
        redeem our salvation through our trust
            in the empty tomb,
                   the promises of Jesus and a filled heart.

In His redemption and
     for our acceptance and faith,    and
        in our humble desire for forgiveness 
          we feel our Love for Jesus,
we receive our salvation.

In our salvation 
   We are given the power of the Holy Spirit.

In our seeking the Holy Spirit to fill our lives,
     We are given guidance for our everyday living,
           God's Wisdom to live our daily lives, and
               continued salvation for our eternal souls.

All this, because
     just as He made us in His image, and
     just as Good parents are in His image 
        God wants and desires a loving relationship with us!

Question- What do you do for God?

He does everything for you out of Love, but
out of your love,
      what do you do for him?

When was the last time you prayed,
"Dear God, I love you."

Earnestly pray this prayer daily, often, everyday,

"Dear God, I love You. amen"

Then watch your trust in Him grow,
    your love for Him increase,
      and your life change.

Truly, Thanks be to God
