Luke 6:12 NIV

[The Twelve Apostles] [6:13-16pp -- Mt 10:2-4; Mk 3:16-19; Ac 1:13] One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

In our lives, Trusting God is like a garden, either we grow in trust and produce fruit or ... we wither in our worries.  We must understand that prayer in our lives acts like the water and fertilizer in the garden in that prayer helps us build our Trust in Him.

Prayer, our communications with God develops Trust and our Relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit- our Faith.  In that, as we Trust more we love God more, we love Jesus more and we feel the presence and Guidance of the Holy Spirit more.  Prayer may not always change our circumstances but for sure, it will change us and how we view our circumstance.  That is huge in God's plan for us.

Here are some things to consider in our prayers and a few things to pray for:

Pray everyday, focused on needs and not your wants,
pray counting your blessings rather than your "problems",
pray more for others than self,
pray in the good times to know better how in the bad,
pray in humility rather than feelings of self pride,
pray in meekness
that your prayers are received as authentic,
pray in thankfulness especially when in disrepair,
pray in forgiving attitude in prayers for forgiveness,
pray in real expectation rather than
                   expecting fruitlessness,
pray in feelings of gratitude rather than attitude,
pray in faithfulness everyday, often, rather than
weak trust in the bad times,
pray in desire of His will to live in us,
                   rather than our will,
pray in selflessness rather than
                   living in selfishness,
pray in your aloneness
not just in public for others to hear,
pray in trusting Him
that you do not fall into temptation,
pray in trusting Him
to build your confidence in Him,
pray often everyday,
pray to feel God's presence continuously,
pray to understand God's plan for our lives,
pray to forgive especially when you do not want to,
pray to forgive even when forgiveness will not requested,
pray to Praise Him in all circumstances,
pray to Love Jesus especially when you do not feel lovable,
pray to Seek God and His Kingdom especially when you feel lost,
pray to never allow "why" to be a barrier between you and God,
pray to see, recognize, and accept God's answers to our prayers
as His answers build Trust in Him,
pray for a repentant attitude
especially in times of feeling great pride,
pray for your enemies, not just your friends,
pray for Holy Spiritual guidance in
                   protection from your selfish desires,
pray for Trust greater than Peter's,
pray for inner peace in our chaotic world,
pray for understanding the fullness of God's Grace in our lives,
pray for fully appreciating the fullness of God's Grace in our lives,
pray for continuous guidance of the Holy Spirit in all decisions,
pray for Spiritual joy
in the trials of our personal sadness,
pray for the Holy Spirit to help you build Trust in
                    the promises of Jesus,
pray for courage in adversity,
pray for self-control in a world seemingly out of control,
pray for a gentle spirit in dealing with others,
pray for faithfulness and resistance when tempted,
pray for kind heartedness when facing hard heartedness,

pray for patience in awaiting answers to our prayers,

pray as Jesus prayed,
"not my will but your will be done".

Pray, and Pray, and Pray, Everyday,
especially for the little needs in our lives,
   and
as Moses said to the Hebrews at the Red sea,
"... watch what God will do for you today."

In addition to prayer and Bible Study,
God Trusting friends are important elements in
helping us build our Trust in God.

Pray, Study the Bible, surround yourself with Trusting friends and

Then, do not be amazed at His Glory in your life
His work in your life is just what He does .....
           everyday single day!

and then
     show His glory to others
in the way you live your life.

Thanks be to God

Prayer changes things. In humility, as we pray more for our NEEDS and especially for others, we see results. Praying for our wants is what often leads to disappointmenst. As we see results, we often pray more, we feel receptive to the Holy Spirit, and then are moved to pray more.  Click below for some things we should pray for. Please share the message on your Fb page as you like, and if you like, click the FB 'Follow' button to have notifications of these publications.  For other messages like this, visit my FB page, or on FB visit-"A Daily Thought Group".

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT YOU NEEDED TO PRAY FOR?  Maybe you think you have your life under control and you do not need to talk to God.  I hope this is not the case, but if it is, then there are manyt things and opportunities you can still pray for.  Under any circumstances, God wants to hear from you (yeah, really, just believe it).  Pray daily as you should and you will be glad you did.  Please share the message on your Fb page as you like, and if you like, click the FB 'Follow' button to have notifications of these publications.  For other messages like this, visit my FB page, or on FB visit-"A Daily Thought Group".

Wants and Needs Control our Lives

Wants and Needs Control our Lives

   Fighting for what you want
         is a sure path
            to unhappiness.

Living in God's grace depending on Him to supply your needs brings abundant joy to the heart that only God can so graciously provide.  Learning to discern your needs from your wants is a life long journey with the Holy Spirit guiding your path.  WANTS are circumstancial in the everyday environment we find ourselves;  they change with the wind, grow with being met, and ultimately lead to self-distruction when you live life depending on your selfish self-confidence.   Persistent pursuit of our wants only leads to a life in chaos, but God's joy in our hearts brings peace to our lives.

Pray for your needs to be met, it's ok to be specific, but end your prayers as Jesus did, "Not my will, but yours be done."

To have the Holy Spirit in your heart,
"pray and pray and pray.... everyday".....
                                                especially for others.

Matthew 16:25 NIV [Jesus Speaking]

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

9+1 Behaviors that Separate us from God

9+1 Behaviors that Separate us
     from God

1-    Accepting and
living with
    discouragement
that clouds our vision.

2-    Taking life the Easy Way instead living life God’s Way.

3-    Allowing simple fruitless wants to override
what we really Need in our lives.
The discontentment of a fruitless life
that can lead to untimely death.

4-    Living in our own selfishness instead of
Living in His Desires for Us.

5-    Planning our life instead of Seeking
             His Plans for our Life.
God does have a sense of humor,
He laughs when he sees us planning.
                       Or does God cry
when he sees us with our plans.

6-    To be Content in Drowning
in the self imposed Discontentment of our Lives.

7-    Failure to:
            (1) study and know God’s Word for our lives or
            (2) failure to live in
Humility within His will.
Just being ‘good’ is not good enough.

8-    Not making room in our daily activities
for our best connector to God - prayer.
                 Jesus Prayed Often!

9-    Thinking, "I am a good person,
it is just a little sin to do this just one time."

The Ultimate Behavior
           Separating us From God

10-    Rejecting the Holy Spirit.

Why is it we forget that it is God’s Word
that has lasted for 4500 years and not the wants of man.
The one true need of mankind is
The One True Word of God.

Kings and Kingdoms will all pass away,
but the Word of God will live forever.

Thanks Be to God
